Periwinkle Marmalade: I am furious! I was looking to purchase some high quality blank nesting dolls on Etsy and I came across a shop that has BLATANTLY ripped off my work! My work is the first photo, see the next 3 for the plagiarized versions. What’s more- this “person” only charges $20.00-30.00 for an “exclusive owl collection designed and hand painted by me (the Artist).” I am so angry. My gut feeling is this Etsy seller is a company selling mass produced garbage, and somehow they got a hold of my designs. They also offer free shipping. I know that blank dolls cost at least $20 for a good quality set, and another $6-7 to ship. How are they making profit? I wrote to the shop inquiring about the maker of these dolls, and have yet to hear back. I am going to attempt to report this shop to Etsy. Anyone have any advice on how to handle this? Or at least make me feel better? Ha!
